The Broad River Trail is located in Stephens County in the Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area. It is an easy to moderate trail which offers beautiful woodland hiking along Dick's Creek and The Broad River. It features lots of Mountain Laurel and wild flowers. To access this trail take Hwy. 123W. out of Toccoa past Currahee Mtn.- Turn onto Ayersville Rd. at the Millikan and Patterson Pump signs. Proceed 1 mile and turn left onto Forest Service road #87. Travel this gravel road a little more than two miles and you will see a sign for the trailhead on the right side of the road.
